Broken Iris The Eyes Of Tomorrow
Broken Iris formed in 2005 with definite direction and style. As an all acoustic band, they recorded a 4 song demo with Jay Trammel at Fatcat Studios. Their focus was on building good songs, beautiful vocals, with the added uniqueness of the cello. They had a short run with this lineup until they lost two members. Through their friend Jack, Steve Avery and Danny Cocke joined the band. Both Steve and Danny had learned a lot from their past band experiences and their years in the studio writing and recording demos for other local bands.

Jodi Martin started writing songs when she was five. Noticing this trend, her Mum loaned Jodi her tape recorder. At five, this was a momentous event and confirmed Jodis obsession with songwriting forever.
A Brief History of Nothing
In October 2007, legendary performer Charlie Nothing passed away at his Soquel California home. The following article was originally published in The Fretboard Journal, Number 6, Summer 2007. Geezer Safari was formed in late 2005 by Kris Ward and Sam Freeman. Songs were written and rehearsed before the band even auditioned a drummer to join this exciting line up
Hobbyhorse Starts Burning Up The Airwaves  San Francisco Bay area, folk/rock duo Hobbyhorse's album "Break In the Clouds" has been burning up the broadcast airwaves, with stations in Canada, Australia and across the US playing their unique mix of psychedelic folk/rock. The album was also recently picked as Release of the Month September 2007 by Seldom Heard Radio.
Karlex Makes Comeback To France's High-Speed TGV Train Karlex was the first musician invited to perform on France's h igh-speed TGV trains last spring as part of IDTGV's strategy to create a 'new' travel experience, including on-board entertainment. During the seven day tour on the Paris-Perpignan TGV train line, Karlex performed tracks from his new album "Ghetto Fabulous" at the respective stations as well as at the "Bar iDZinc" in the lounge car during the voyage.
